Absentee Ballot Applications Being Mailed to Ohio Voters
Information from the Miami County Board of Elections

TROY - Ohio registered voters are beginning to receive absentee ballot request applications in the mail ahead of the Nov. 3 general election.

The Ohio Secretary of State’s Office has mailed an absentee ballot application to every registered voter in the state. The application is valid for requesting an absentee ballot for the November election.

Voters also may receive absentee ballot request forms from voter advocacy groups, political parties or candidates. Only one absentee ballot request form is necessary.

Voters who plan to vote in person, either during early voting or on Election Day, should not return an absentee ballot request form.

The Miami County Board of Elections recommends that voters who wish to vote by mail return their completed absentee ballot application as soon as possible.

Absentee ballots will begin being mailed to regular voters Tuesday, Oct. 6. Military and overseas voters may begin receiving absentee ballots Sept. 18.

Miami County voters can check the status of their absentee ballot through the Miami County Board of Elections website HERE.
