Senior, Veteran Appreciation Day Set for Aug. 19 at Miami County Fair

TROY - Seniors and veterans are invited to a full day of free activities during Senior & Veteran Appreciation Day on Wednesday, Aug. 19, at the Miami County Fairgrounds.

 

   The event begins with a complimentary brunch from 8:30 to 10 a.m. in the Livestock Barn Kids Area. A Miami County Veterans Resource Fair will be held from noon to 3 p.m. under the grandstand, followed by live music and entertainment from 1 to 2 p.m.

 

   The day's Veterans Celebration is scheduled from 3 to 5 p.m. in the grandstand, with a Veterans Cookout from 5 to 6 p.m. under the grandstand.
