PIQUA - Each year, Heritage Ohio, the state-wide Main Street coordinating agency under Main Street America, honors the people, places and projects that exemplify a commitment to growth through preservation and revitalization.

 

   This year, Piqua’s “Barclay's Men's-Women's Clothier” has been selected as one of three finalists for the Main Street Business of the Year award.

 

   The Main Street Business of the Year award is presented to the owner(s) and/or employee(s) of a Main Street program business with innovative business strategies, which has been heavily involved in the downtown revitalization planning and implementation, has been a leader in marketing, and serves as a anchor in the district. This year, the award ceremony will be Tuesday, October 15th, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the historic Midland Theatre in downtown Newark. The award ceremony kicks off the 2024 Heritage Ohio Annual Conference, and is free and open to anyone to attend.

   Heritage Ohio promotes economic growth through the preservation and revitalization of downtowns and neighborhoods across Ohio.
