Artists Sought for Tipp City Fine Art Exhibit and Juried Art Fair

TIPP CITY — The Tipp City Area Arts Council is seeking artists for two upcoming events this spring at the Tipp Center.

The annual Fine Art Exhibition & Sale, open to both amateur and professional artists, will be held April 13–25 at the Tipp Center, 855 N. Third St. The regional exhibit will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday. An artists reception is scheduled for 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, April 12.

This year’s exhibition will coincide with a Dayton Literary Peace Prize program sponsored by the Tipp City Public Library on April 17, which is expected to bring additional visitors to the gallery.

The Arts Council is also accepting applications for An Art Affair, a juried fine art and fine craft vendor event scheduled for 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 25 at the Tipp Center. Admission is free.

The vendor show, which takes place alongside the Fine Art Exhibition, typically attracts more than 1,000 visitors. Fine art and fine craft vendors are invited to apply, and limited booth spaces remain available.

Artists interested in the exhibition or vendor show can find more information at tippcityartscouncil.com/fine-arts-exhibit.html or email artaffairtipp@gmail.com.
