Information provided

TIPP CITY — The Tipp City Area Arts Council will present the 2025 Canal Music Fest on Saturday, June 14, at 6 p.m. in City Park. This free event is made possible by Edison State Community College, Thrivent Financial Associate Matt Buehrer, and a grant from The Duke Foundation.

This year’s featured performers include Barracuda – America’s Heart Tribute, and local favorite Stranger. Food and beverage vendors will begin serving at 5 p.m.

Confirmed food vendors include Bolasko’s Concessions, Buckeye Burgers, Charlie’s Chops, Kona Ice, Raging Bull Pizza, Susie’s Big Dipper, and Thai Village on Wheels. Family-friendly activities will include Banana Jackson Face Painting, Great Clips Hair Painting, and appearances by Ranger Vic.

“We’re really excited to bring some girl power to this year’s event with our feature act, Barracuda,” said Canal Music Fest Co-Chair Amy Barr. “And we’re always thrilled when Stranger joins us. You’ll be blown away by the Barracuda vocals—close your eyes, and you’ll think you’re at a Heart concert.”

Barracuda, based in Nashville, Tennessee, is known nationwide for its powerhouse vocals, stellar musicianship, and high-energy live performances. The band’s members are world-traveled musicians with impressive résumés, and the group is considered the busiest Heart tribute act in the country.

Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets and enjoy an energetic evening of music. The event will be held rain or shine. Coolers and backpacks are not permitted. The park is located north of the Tipp City Aquatic Center, with entrance and free parking available from Parkwood Drive.

Raffle tickets for a 50/50 drawing will be available for purchase during the event.
