Covington to Celebrate Hometown Christmas on Nov. 28
COVINGTON — Covington will welcome the holiday season with its annual Hometown Christmas celebration on Friday, November 28, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in downtown Covington. The evening promises festive lights, cheerful carols, and plenty of small-town holiday spirit.
The event begins at 5:30 p.m. with a parade traveling along University, Wall, Spring, High, and Wright streets. A community Christmas tree lighting will follow at 5:45 p.m. at the corner of Wright and High streets. Carolers will perform downtown from 6 to 6:30 p.m., adding to the holiday atmosphere.
Children will have the chance to meet Santa Claus from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Covington Government Center.

Local shops and restaurants will be open during the celebration, offering visitors a chance to enjoy holiday treats, warm drinks, and festive shopping. Organizers encourage families to come early and explore downtown Covington, where “the spirit is bright, the laughter is loud, and the memories are made to last.”
