Dye Mill Compost Facility to Close for Season After Saturday

TROY - The Dye Mill Road Compost Facility’s last day of operations for 2025 will be Saturday, November 29. It will reopen in spring of 2026. Please note that the facility will be closed for the Thanksgiving holiday on Wednesday, November 26 and Thursday, November 27.

 

   The Dye Mill Road Compost Facility is available for use to all City of Troy residents. The facility accepts compost materials including grass, brush, leaves, garden refuse (excluding fruit), and rocks. Concrete, bricks, and blocks are not accepted. To use the facility, Troy residents must provide proof of residency.
