Eyemart Express Opens New Store in Troy on July 27

The national optical retailer’s newest location will add jobs and make vision health more accessible

TROY - Eyemart Express, known for providing expert eye care and delivering glasses in a blink, is opening its first store in the Miami Valley on Monday, July 27. The new 2,497-square-foot store is located at 2343 W. Main St., next to Buffalo Wild Wings in the Kings Tower shopping center. The national optical retailer has a 36-year history of making eye care more affordable and accessible to communities by offering comprehensive eye exams and glasses that can be fitted and completed in just one day. This will be the 13th Eyemart Express location in Ohio.

   The new Eyemart Express store in Troy will offer a dozen full- and part-time jobs, ranging from sales associates to lab technicians and opticians. Along with providing a competitive benefits package for all associates, the company offers employees a variety of training and development programs to cultivate career paths in the optical industry.    The optical retailer sells quality prescription eyewear with free same-day service thanks to on-site lense labs at each location that can have glasses ready in as little as 30 minutes. The assortment at the Troy store features more than 2,000 frames at affordable prices, including two pairs of glasses with single vision lenses for less than $40. Eyemart Express also carries popular designer brands including Versace, Burberry, Longchamp, Tory Burch, and Lacoste. Kids can pick from a wide assortment of frames featuring brands such as Jonas Paul, Paw Patrol, and My Little Pony.

In addition, the optical retailer makes sizable donations to the nonprofit cancer research and treatment organization Stand Up To Cancer (SU2C).    Shoppers in Troy can plan to schedule a comprehensive eye exam with Dr. Matthew Ruzicka at Insightful Eyewear, located inside the Eyemart Express store. They can also bring in an existing prescription from their eye doctor. 

   Eyemart Express is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The optical retailer is closed on Sunday. All store details can be found here
