Tippecanoe Community Band Fall Concert Set for Sept. 15; Theme is "Music Makes the Scene"
TIPP CITY - The Tippecanoe Community Band Fall Concert will be held on Sunday, Sept. 15. The band will perform musical arrangements from the movies. Doors open at 2:15, and the concert will begin at 3 p.m. at the Tipp Center at 855 N. Third St. in Tipp City. Admission is free. All ages are welcome. Visit tmcomservices.org or

   The Tippecanoe Band consists of approximately sixty-five musicians. It was formed in 1980 with only eight members and has been housed under the Tipp Monroe Community Services umbrella for forty-four years. Ahmed has been the band’s director since its formation.

 

   Tipp Monroe Community Services is a local nonprofit organization responsible for identifying and meeting the needs of Tipp City and Monroe Township residents. We provide recreational, educational, cultural, and social services programs.
