



Fall Farm Fest Returns to Troy this Weekend, Oct. 10-11
TROY - The Miami County Park District's Fall Farm Fest will return to Lost Creek Reserve in Troy on Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 10-11 for a weekend celebrating Miami County’s agricultural heritage with farm demonstrations, family activities, food, music and local vendors.
The 17th annual event will be held from noon to 5 p.m. both days at 2385 St. Rt. 41. General admission is free, although some activities, food and merchandise require an additional charge.
Fall Farm Fest activities
Visitors can explore a six-acre corn maze, try the corn shooter, take part in farm demonstrations and enjoy activities for children and families.

Scarecrow Lane
Scarecrow Lane will return as one of Fall Farm Fest’s featured attractions, with scarecrows created by local businesses, organizations and families lining the farm lane. Visitors can walk or take a wagon ride through the display and vote for their favorite scarecrow at the information booth.
Food and vendors
Food vendors will offer a variety of meals, snacks, desserts and drinks during the festival. Listed vendors include Cumberland Kettle Corn, Kona Ice of Troy, Scouting America Troop 365, Susie’s Big Dipper, The Chunky Chicken, The Homestead Spud, Timeless Tacos, Travelin’ Tom’s Coffee of Miami County and Wanna Pizza Me.
Artisans and vendors listed by the park district include Blue Collar Honey Bees, Dohner Maple Products, El Tomate Feliz and Baker’s Vegetable Market, My Nature Craftings, Pumpkins, Sweet Treats N Stuff, The Farm InBetween, The Olive Oasis, Western Ohio Woodworkers and Wrinkle Finkle.
Community partner booths will include the Miami County Farm Bureau, Miami County Master Gardener Volunteers, Miami County Sheriff’s Department, Miami County Solid Waste District and Miami Soil & Water Conservation District. Power 107.1 Radio is scheduled to participate Saturday.

Sunday, Oct. 11 — Noon to 5 p.m.
Sunday will feature the festival’s activities and demonstrations, including the Children’s Homestead, which is offered Sunday only.
