Independence Day Celebration in Christiansburg | June 22-23

New Knoxville Independence Day Celebration | June 28-29
From a cruise-in, golf cart parade and sports tournaments, to live music, food and fireworks, this festival has something for everyone. Fireworks are at 10:30 p.m. on Saturday. LEARN MORE

Independence Week at Young’s Jersey in Yellow Springs | June 28-July 7

Take advantage of a special Family Value wristband good for all day, unlimited family fun at Young’s Jersey Dairy. Play Udders & Putters miniature golf, batting cages, driving range, Wagon Tour on the Farm, Moovers & Shakers, Cowvin’s Fast Slide, and Cowvin’s Kiddie Corral. Wristbands are $20 (ages 12 & over) $14 (ages 11 & under) and can be purchased at Udders & Putters.​

Lights Up the Night Festival & Fireworks in Pleasant Hill | June 29

Star Spangled Heights Celebration in Huber Heights | June 29

Waynesville 4th of July Celebration & Food Truck Rally | June 29
Come enjoy a small town parade with horses, antique farm tractors, custom cars, bands, fire trucks and many other special surprises in between. Watch the parade and then shop until 5 p.m. in over 25 unique shops in a five block area on Main Street and stop by Bicentennial Park for a food truck rally. Fireworks will be at 10 p.m.

Summer Street Market & Car Show & Fireworks in West Liberty | June 29
This event features a car/bike/quarter midget show, live music, food trucks, street vendors and more, plus fireworks at the Lion’s Park at dusk. The street market and vendors will be open from noon to 7 p.m. LEARN MORE

19th Century Style Independence Day Celebration at Piatt Castle Mac-A-cheek in West Liberty | June 30

Bring a picnic, buy a slice of Independence Day cake, learn how to play cricket and roll wooden hoops, enjoy historical tunes and storytelling about July 4th customs in the past, make "safe" firecrackers and watch them fly, listen to the Declaration of Independence, watch musket firing, and help make the cannon boom. Takes place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Piatt Castle Mac-A-Cheek, 10051 Township Rd. 47. Free and open to the public. LEARN MORE

West Milton July 4th Celebration Festival | July 2-4
Carnival rides, games and food from 5-10 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday and 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on July 4th. The parade will be on July 4 at 11 a.m. and kiddie tractor pulls will be at 6 p.m. with sign-ups at 5 p.m. behind Wertz Variety. Fireworks are 10 p.m. on July 4th.

Vandalia Star-Spangled Celebration | July 3
Enjoy food trucks and entertainment starting at 6 p.m. at the Vandalia Rec Center, 1111 Stonequarry Rd. Fireworks will be at 10 p.m.

Buck Creek Boom in Springfield | July 3
Fireworks start at 10 p.m. around Ferncliff at the Banks of Buck Creek. It is free.

Lights in Flight in Dayton | July 3

The annual fireworks show produced by the City of Dayton Department of Recreation will take place at Kettering Field, just north of downtown Dayton in the McCook Field neighborhood at 10 p.m.. A viewing area will be available at the northern and eastern sections of Kettering Field. Signs will mark the viewing area. Parking in the area will be limited; it is suggested visitors arrive early. Piquafest at the Piqua Center | July 4
The Piqua Center will host this event from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. and culminating with the city’s fireworks display at 10 p.m. The day will include a car show, pin up contest, food, drinks, vendors, live music, a carnival with rides and games, axe throwing, a dunk tank, face painting and more. July 4th Parade in Troy | July 4
A parade will travel along Staunton, Market and Main streets (and around the Square) starting at 9 a.m.

The Dogs of Society (Elton John tribute) in Troy | July 4
Enjoy this live concert featuring a tribute to the music of Elton John at 7:30 p.m. at Treasure Island Park and then stick around for the fireworks.


Tipp City Fireworks & Food Trucks | July 4
Food trucks will be set up at Kyle Park at 7 p.m. with fireworks at 10 p.m.


4th of July Picnic & Children’s Parade in Arcanum | July 4
The Arcanum Preservation Society will present this free event on July 4. The picnic is from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Ivester Park (where hamburgers and hot dogs will be available for a donation) and the parade is at 1 p.m. Registration is required to be in the parade and starts at noon at the park. There will prizes for decorated bikes (and almost anything else on wheels). For more information, call (937) 459-1157.

Ansonia 4th of July Celebration | July 4-6
The fun starts on the 4th of July with the Firecracker 5K at 8 a.m. The fun continues on Friday with the Little Mister & Miss Red, White & Blue Pageant, Kiddie Pedal Pulls at 7 p.m. and fireworks at 10 p.m. The parade is at 11 a.m. Saturday, along with BBQ chicken dinners starting at 1 p.m. LEARN MORE

First Friday “Patriotic Weekend” in Greenville | July 5

Come to downtown Greenville to enjoy a host of patriotic events and activities from 6-9 p.m.

4th of July Weekend at Poor Farmers Campground in Fletcher | July 5-7

Red, White & Blue Block Party & Fireworks in Xenia | July 5
Live music, a car show, children’s games, a bike parade, cornhole tournaments and sporting activities and more, with fireworks at dark.

Light Up the Lake Spectacular at Indian Lake | July 6
Bring your boat or just come to a local restaurant, pub or beach and enjoy this famous fireworks over Indian Lake State Park at 10 p.m. They plan to have “one of the biggest fireworks displays in the state!” LEARN MORE

Patriotic Parade & Fireworks in Greenville | July 6
A Patriotic Parade will travel down Main Street and around the Square starting at 10 a.m. Fireworks will be at 10 p.m. at the Fairgrounds.

Old Fashioned Independence Day Festival & Fireworks in Eaton | July 7
Gates open at 4 p.m. (parking is $20 per vehicle) with food vendors and a craft show, historical exhibits, community concerts, a splash zone, live bands and the Fireworks & Glow Show at 9:45 p.m. Takes place at 7693 Swartsel Rd. LEARN MORE
