TROY — The Troy-Hayner Cultural Center will host its annual Holiday Open House on Saturday & Sunday, December 6–7, 2025 from 1:00–5:00 pm, featuring live performances, family activities, and holiday décor inspired by favorite Christmas movies. The event is free and open to the public.

Saturday, December 6: Family-focused activities fill the schedule, including:

free, hands-on projects for all ages in the Art Studio & East Room -
1:00 pm Cindy Shreffler’s Ballet Presentation
A graceful holiday performance from young local dancers in the Ballroom. -
2:00 pm & 3:30 pm River City Puppets: Wonders of Wiggly River
A colorful, whimsical puppet show for all ages in the Ballroom. No tickets required. -
2:30–4:45 pm Visit with Santa
Meet Santa in the Study and share holiday wishes and photo moments.

Sunday, December 7, Live Music Showcase: An afternoon of continuous live music featuring local and regional artists

1:00–1:30 pm Troy Tones (Troy High School)
An auditioned pop a cappella ensemble performing contemporary and jazz selections. The Troy Tones perform throughout the community and at school concerts year-round. -
1:30–2:00 pm Ra.Feke
Dayton-based guitarist and vocalist with 15 years of international experience across indie, pop, and afro-soul. Performing as Ra.Feke (“friend” in Swahili), Izzy Olaore collaborates with major artists globally. His music radiates positivity and connection, celebrating creativity as a shared language. -
2:00–2:30 pm Titus Bowman
A country singer-songwriter from Covington, Ohio, whose work reflects classic western storytelling and heartfelt expression. Titus performs original songs and timeless favorites at festivals and regional venues. -
2:30–3:00 pm Eliza Crist
A gifted young pianist who began studying at age 9 and has developed a passion for mastering challenging repertoire. Now 14, Eliza performs expressive classical selections with talent and poise beyond her years. -
3:00–3:30 pm Troy High School Orchestra
A student ensemble directed by Stephanie Strope, performing classical, film, and contemporary works. The orchestra performs throughout the year at school and community events. -
3:30–4:00 pm Alex Brundrett
A Dayton-based pianist and Troy High School graduate whose thoughtful, emotional performance style is shaped by years of volunteer music service at Grandview Hospital and Hospice of Dayton. His work centers on music as a source of comfort and connection. -
4:00–4:30 pm Joss Dennis
An acoustic performer offering a warm blend of familiar favorites, classic hits, and seasonal holiday music. Joss brings a relaxed, nostalgic atmosphere that invites audiences to sing along and feel at home. -
4:30–5:00 pm Danny Schneible & Family
Acoustic singer-songwriter closing the showcase with heartfelt selections, joined by his daughters for a special family performance, bringing joy, harmony, and the spirit of togetherness to conclude the weekend.

Cookies and punch will be served, with warm holiday Wassail by Director David Wion on Sunday. Special thanks to the volunteer musicians performing throughout Sunday’s showcase and to the Friends of Hayner for their support.

Troy-Hayner Cultural Center is located at 301 West Main Street, Troy, OH 45373. Hours of operation are Monday 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm, Tuesday – Thursday 9:00 am – 9:00 pm, Friday and Saturday 9:00 am – 5 pm, and Sunday 1:00 pm – 5 pm. The Hayner Center is closed on holidays.
