Heather Redman & The Reputation Concert Rescheduled for Sept. 18 in Troy

TROY - After their original Fridays on Prouty concert was rained out earlier this summer, Heather Redman & The Reputation will return to downtown Troy on Friday, September 18, for a free concert on Prouty Plaza. Special opening act Paid Leave will kick off the evening at 6:30 p.m.

   Based in Dayton, Heather Redman & The Reputation bring together vintage soul, garage rock and a little psychedelia for a sound that feels both familiar and fresh. Redman’s powerhouse vocals lead a full-band sound filled out by horns, organ, guitar and a driving rhythm section. Known for energetic live performances, the band has appeared throughout the region and released its newest single, Promises, earlier this year.

   Paid Leave will get the evening started with an opening set before Heather Redman & The Reputation take the stage, giving concertgoers an extended night of live music on the square.

   The September 18 concert offers one more chance to enjoy Fridays on Prouty in downtown Troy this year. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and settle in on Prouty Plaza for the evening.

   The concert begins at 6:30 p.m. and is free and open to the public.
