MIAMI COUNTY - If full year property tax amounts have been paid prior to the application of the credit, any resulting surplus payment amount will be credited to future year tax charges. To request a refund of your surplus amount, please visit the Miami County Auditor’s website at miamicountyohioauditor.gov for more information. Overpayments are displayed as “SURPLUS” amounts on this website, under the parcel detail tax tab (Surplus amounts $10.00 and under will not be refunded and will be credited to future year tax charges). Deadline to request a refund is September 30, 2026.
