Habitat for Humanity Thanks Lighthouse at the Lock for Feeding Workers
Information from the Habitat for Humanity of Miami & Shelby Counties, OH
PIQUA - The Habitat for Humanity of Miami & Shelby Counties made the following announcement today:
"Thank you to the staff at Lighthouse at the Lock !
The crew at Lighthouse, including Lisa and Chris, kept our volunteers fed this year on both of our Piqua home contruction projects. Any time we called, Lighthouse was there to cook for, deliver to, and feed our hungry volunteers delicious hot lunches at a great price. Contributions like theirs help keep homeownership affordable for Habitat partner families, who assume a 0% interest mortgage once their homes are built.
As a thank you gesture for our generous business partners in the 2025 Piqua home build projects, the dedicated volunteers in our Habitat Activity Center made plaques from the Habitat Home icon. Each plaque is hand painted in the new Habitat Blue brand color and is able to be displayed on a desk or wall. Volunteer Coordinator Maureen stopped by to deliver the plaques and thank them in person.
Thank you Lisa, Chris, and the whole team at Lighthouse at the Lock"
