Information provided
PIQUA - Celebrate the sights, sounds, and flavors of fall at Harvest Fest 2026, presented by MainStreet Piqua, on Saturday, Oct. 17, from noon-5 p.m. in downtown Piqua. This family-friendly festival will fill the streets with seasonal fun, live entertainment, delicious food, and activities for all ages.
Shoppers will enjoy browsing local craft vendors and stopping in for downtown merchant giveaways and experiences, while kids can dive into a full day of interactive fall fun.
Activities include a Jeep show, a special game with prizes sponsored by the Piqua Public Library (Pokémon prizes, while supplies last, will be given to those who participate in a Pokémon craft inside the library from noon-2:30 p.m. and bring their completed craft to the library booth at Harvest Fest), plus pumpkin bowling and a corn pit courtesy of Apple Tree Gallery. Bring a donation to the Bethany Center or show a receipt from a downtown merchant at the Kiwanis Club of Piqua Pumpkin Patch and get a free pumpkin! Even more games and surprises await young festivalgoers throughout the day.
On stage, DJ Trissell Entertainment will provide live music to keep downtown energized. At 1 and 3 p.m., the crowd will gather to cheer on the hilarious “Chicken Jockey” races through the streets where we will find out which came first, the chicken or the egg.
Registered Jeeps from the rained-out portion of this year's Rockin' River Duck Drop will be on display for judging. Over a dozen raffle baskets are full of amazing prizes. Raffle tickets may be purchased all day by ALL participants of Harvest Fest, with winners announced at approximately 4:30 p.m.
Hungry festivalgoers will have plenty of options to satisfy their cravings. In addition to downtown’s outstanding restaurants, Harvest Fest will feature cabbage rolls and sugar waffles from Dobo’s Delights Bake Shoppe, as well as treats and eats from several food trucks.
“Harvest Fest is a true celebration of community,” says MainStreet Piqua Executive Director Staci Roth. “It’s a chance to bring families, neighbors, and visitors together to enjoy the best of autumn right in the heart of our downtown.”
