Road Work, Lane Restrictions Announced for Miami County Area

TROY - Several road closures and lane restrictions are planned across the Miami County area, including new impacts on Interstate 75 and State Route 721. Motorists should use caution, allow extra travel time and follow posted detours in construction and work zones.
NEW IMPACTS:
Interstate 75 Lane Restriction – I-75 in each direction will be subject to a lane restriction between the Shelby County line and the Montgomery County line from 8 a.m. to 3 a.m. starting Tuesday, Oct. 13, through Friday, Oct. 23. Crews will be repairing guardrail/cable rail/drains.
State Route 721 Closure – The village of Bradford will close SR 721 between Smithfield Street and Oakwood Street for a festival from Saturday, Oct. 10, through Monday, Oct. 19. Motorists should follow local detour as posted.
CONTINUING IMPACTS:
State Route 721 Closure – SR 721 between Ludlow Street and the Montgomery County line will intermittently be reduced to a single lane from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. starting Monday, May 4, through fall 2026. Traffic will be maintained by a flagging operation. Crews will be repaving the roadway.
State Route 55 Closure – SR 55 between Franklin Street and the Champaign County line will intermittently be reduced to a single lane from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. starting Monday, May 4, through fall 2026. Traffic will be maintained by a flagging operation. Crews will be repaving the roadway.
State Route 718 Closure – SR 718 between SR 721 and Newton Drive line will intermittently be reduced to a single lane from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. starting Monday, May 4, through fall 2026. Traffic will be maintained by a flagging operation. Crews will be repaving the roadway.
State Route 571 Lane Restrictions – SR 571 between SR 48 and Rachel Ann Boulevard will be subject to intermittent lane restrictions from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. starting Monday, April 17, through fall 2026. Crews will be building an addition to the bike path.
