Sheriff Duchak Announces Promotions

TROY - Sheriff Dave Duchak is honored to announce the following corrections officer promotions that became effective the past few weeks.

 

   Sergeant Ryan Carson (pictured at bottom left) was promoted to shift lieutenant where he will oversee one of the night watch shifts.  Lieutenant Carson is an 11 year veteran of the Miami County Sheriff’s Office and has served the past five years as day watch sergeant. 

 

   After competitive testing, corrections officer Pat Lines (pictured at right) was promoted to shift sergeant.   Sergeant Lines will be assigned to one of the night watch shifts where he will be second in charge.  Sergeant Lines is a 5 year veteran of the Miami County Sheriff’s Office.

 

   Lieutenant Carson and Sergeant Lines have distinguished themselves as hard working, competent employees who have served with commitment and dedication.  The promotions are well deserved and I am confident that each of them will excel in their new duties.
