Piqua Commission Appoints Philip Wead to Fourth Ward Seat

PIQUA - At its meeting on Tuesday, February 3, Piqua City Commission welcomed a new Commissioner.

   Law Director Jessica Stiltner administered the oath of office to Commissioner Philip Wead after Piqua City Commission appointed him to a four-year term representing Ward 4. The Commission accepted applications for Ward 4 candidates after no candidates ran in the November election.

   The City of Piqua appreciates each of the applicants who applied to fill the open seat and looks forward to working alongside Commissioner Wead.
