Piqua Manor, Garbry Ridge Hosting Communitywide Food & Personal Care Donation Drive
Information from Piqua Manor
PIQUA — Piqua Manor and Garbry Ridge Assisted Living have launched a communitywide food and personal care donation drive, aiming to stock the shelves of local food pantries through the holiday season. The effort, which is already underway, will continue through Dec. 21, 2025, with weekly deliveries planned to ensure pantries remain supplied as demand increases.

Organizers are asking residents to choose at least one category of items to focus on, noting that both facilities have created cards listing the types of goods most needed. Donations can include pasta, canned meals, hearty soups, canned meats, fruits and vegetables, peanut butter, cereals, beans, noodles, powdered milk, toothpaste, shampoo, bar or liquid soap, toilet paper, tissues and paper towels.

Collection boxes are located at Piqua Manor, 1840 W. High Street, and Garbry Ridge Assisted Living, 1567 Garbry Ridge Road. Staff members say they hope to reach as many local food pantries as possible during the drive and are encouraging community members to contribute what they can.
