City to Reinvest $1.7 Million in Troy Aquatic Park
Information from the City of Troy
TROY - At its February 2 meeting, Troy City Council authorized bidding for the Troy Aquatic Park Maintenance Project. The $1.7 million project includes several necessary maintenance procedures at the now-22-year-old aquatic park, including filter replacement, new pool gutters, recoating, and various repairs. The project will begin following the 2026 swim season, so that the refreshed Troy Aquatic Park will be ready to welcome visitors at the opening of the 2027 season.
The City Council also approved changes to the pay for hourly and seasonal positions at the Troy Aquatic Park, allowing the park to offer competitive wages for lifeguard and manager positions.
Both measures are intended to keep Troy Aquatic Park running as a robust public pool and park for area families for years to come. For more information or to register for your 2026 season pass, visit www.troypool.com.
