
Miami Valley Veterans Museum to Host Rock N Soul Revue Fundraiser Sept. 19

TROY - The Miami Valley Veterans Museum will host an evening of classic music and family-friendly entertainment during its Rock N Soul Revue fundraiser on Saturday, Sept. 19.
The event will feature father-and-son performers Don and Ryan Rose, who will present a musical journey through the hits of the 1950s and 1960s. The show includes music made famous by Motown artists, Frankie Valli, The Jackson 5, Tom Jones and The Blues Brothers, along with an Elvis tribute and a special patriotic performance celebrating America's 250th anniversary.
The fundraiser will be held from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. at 2252 Troy-Urbana Road, Troy. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., with an optional spaghetti dinner served from 6 to 7 p.m. Showtime begins at 7 p.m.
Tickets are $20 for the show only or $30 for the dinner and show. The spaghetti dinner includes a breadstick, salad and dessert. Dinner tickets must be purchased at least one week before the event to allow for catering.
Snacks and soft drinks will be available for purchase during the performance.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the Miami Valley Veterans Museum and its mission to preserve and share the stories of local veterans.
