Shared Harvest to Host Summer Food Distributions in Miami County

PIQUA — Shared Harvest Foodbank, in partnership with Edison State Community College and Collins Aerospace, will hold a series of free drive-thru food distributions in Miami County this summer.

The events are scheduled for:

• Saturday, July 26, from 9 to 11 a.m. at Edison State Community College, Parking Lot 6, 1973 Edison Drive, Piqua;

• Saturday, Aug. 23, from 9 to 11 a.m. at Collins Aerospace, 101 Waco Street, Troy;

• Saturday, Sept. 27, from 9 to 11 a.m. back at Edison State in Piqua.
   

   No pre-registration is required. Attendees are asked to bring a photo ID if they have one. Those picking up food on someone else's behalf must provide a copy of that person’s ID along with a proxy letter, available at sharedharvest.org.

 

   Volunteers are also needed. Those interested in helping should arrive by 9 a.m. and can register in advance at miami.sharedharvest.volunteerhub.com.
