15th Annual Tippapalooza Music Festival Set for Sept. 5 in Downtown Tipp City

TIPP CITY - Celebrating its 15th Year of bringing the Miami Valley’s best live music to Tipp City, the 2026 Tippapalooza Music Festival is approaching fast. This free concert in downtown Tipp City features four local bands with music that reaches far beyond the region.
The 2026 Tippapalooza Music Festival will take place on Saturday, September 5 in historic downtown Tipp City. In addition to four exciting musical acts hitting the stage over the course of the evening, Tippapalooza will feature a diverse mix of food and drink selections from local restaurants. This family-friendly atmosphere is perfect for enjoying some of the best bands coming out of Dayton’s dynamic music scene. Festival doors open at 5 p.m., with music starting at 6 p.m. and continuing through the evening.
Since the festival’s inception in 2012, Tippapalooza has curated a wide-ranging lineup of musical acts year after year. This year’s festival features four bands celebrating the Miami Valley’s rock credentials.
“This year we are leaning more into roots music like Americana and the blues,” said Tippapalooza President
Bill Wendel. “Dayton is home to so many talented musicians with a variety of musical styles. We’re hoping to broaden horizons and maybe introduce our Tipp City audience to some new sounds.”
The 2026 Tippapalooza Lineup:

The Noah Wotherspoon Band, the internationally recognized and award-winning blues powerhouse.

Yuppie, a Dayton Battle of the Bands finalist featuring great Americana and roots influenced songs and a dynamic stage presence

The Gage Thomas Band, the high-energy folk and blues influenced improvisational jam band.

Kittinger, a unique blend of indie rock and electronic music performed by a band of Miami Valley musical all-stars.
Tippapalooza was founded to promote local music and to support local non-profit causes.
