Kameron Smith Opens Total Wealth Alignment in Troy for Business Owners, Professionals and Working Families
New wealth advisory firm offers coordinated financial planning without an asset minimum
TROY - Kameron Smith, CFP®, officially launched Total Wealth Alignment on Oct. 19, a Troy-based wealth advisory firm designed to help clients bring the different pieces of their financial lives together.
Total Wealth Alignment does not set an asset minimum. Rather than fitting every client into a single pricing model, the firm works with each client to choose a fee arrangement that fits their situation and the advice they need.
“There are a lot of people doing well financially whose lives have become complicated before their wealth has become extraordinary,” Smith said. “That is often when good coordination makes the biggest difference, and I did not want an asset minimum to be the reason someone goes without that kind of guidance.”
The firm’s typical client is managing several financial priorities at once, including a business or career, retirement accounts, insurance, tax questions and estate decisions, and wants someone helping connect those decisions.
Smith has worked in financial services since 2013 and has held the CFP® certification since 2016. Over that time, he kept meeting successful people whose finances had grown complicated without a clear way of seeing how their decisions fit together.
Investment, tax, insurance and estate decisions are often handled by different specialists, each bringing real expertise to one part of the picture. Total Wealth Alignment helps connect that work into one coordinated plan so the pieces move in the same direction. When clients need an attorney or accountant, the firm coordinates that work around the plan.
The process is built to show clients where they stand, what needs attention next and how they are progressing over time, including what they are already doing well.
“We spend a lot of time in this industry talking about accumulation,” Smith said. “But money is ultimately a resource. What matters is what it allows someone to do with their life. Better information and better coordination can give people the confidence to make intentional decisions about their careers, businesses, families and retirement.”
Smith chose Troy because it is home. He and his wife are raising their four children there, and he is passionate about helping the local community grow and thrive. He is actively involved with the Troy Chamber of Commerce, Unify Dayton, Coffee with Champions, serves on the board of We Love Birthday Parties, and attends Christian Life Center Church. He hopes to build his firm on the same commitment to relationships, service and community.
