Public Hearing Set on Proposal to Vacate Road in Frederick Town

TROY — A public hearing has been scheduled for July 17 to consider the proposed vacation of a portion of West Street in the unincorporated village of Frederick Town, located in Union Township, Miami County.
The petition to vacate the road was submitted by the Union Township Board of Trustees and filed with the Miami County Board of Commissioners. The road in question is a township road that runs directly west of Inlot 56, extending from the south line of Inlot 56 north to the south line of Inlot 55, according to Union Township Resolution No. 25-04. The proposal is being considered under Ohio Revised Code 5553.045(B).
The hearing will take place at 1:40 p.m. in the Miami County Commissioners' Hearing Room in the Safety Building at 201 W. Main St., Troy.
