YWCA Welcomes John Titus at August 12 Luncheon

PIQUA – Hear about 25 years of peacebuilding after 9/11 from author John Titus at YWCA Piqua’s luncheon on Wednesday, Aug 12.

 

   During this America 250 program, Titus, along with his wife Bev, will speak about their work to promote peace and encourage conflict resolution around the world. He will also remember his daughter, Alicia, who was a flight attendant on a plane that was hijacked and crashed on 9/11. Titus is the founder of the Alicia Titus Memorial Peace Fund.

 

   The luncheon will be held at the YWCA, located at 418 N. Wayne St., Piqua at 11 a.m. Lunch is served at noon for just $8. Be sure to RSVP your reservation by calling the YWCA Piqua at 937-773-6626 by 5 p.m. on Monday, July 6.

 

   Before the program, take advantage of blood pressure and glucose screenings provided by Upper Valley Medical Center Foundation/Volunteers from 10-11 a.m.
