‘Wildlife Encounters’ at YWCA Piqua Sept. 9

PIQUA – Brukner Nature Center (BNC) is bringing the fun to YWCA Piqua on Wednesday, Sept. 9, for the September luncheon program.

 

   Get prepared for an interesting and informative morning when a BNC wildlife ambassador will bring a mammal, bird, reptile and amphibian to observe and learn about as the program portion of the morning. After the program ends promptly at noon, attendees will be excused to another room where lunch will be served.

 

   The luncheon will be held at the YWCA, located at 418 N. Wayne St., Piqua at 11 a.m. Lunch is just $8. Be sure to RSVP your reservation by calling the YWCA Piqua at 937-773-6626 by 5 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 7.

 

   Before the program, take advantage of blood pressure and glucose screenings provided by Upper Valley Medical Center Foundation/Volunteers from 10-11 a.m.
