Taylor Appointed County Apiary Inspector
Information from the Miami County Commissioners

TROY - The Board of Miami County Commissioners are pleased to announce the appointment of Scott Taylor of Springfield, Ohio as the new Miami County Apiary Inspector for the 2025 Season.

 

   Mr. Taylor has been highly recommended by the Ohio Department of Agriculture, Division of Plant Health. Mr. Taylor will reach out directly to the County’s Beekeepers to set up appointments prior to inspections.

 

** Based upon Ohio Law, honeybee colonies are considered to be an agricultural pursuit and can be maintained anywhere in Ohio as long as the Beekeeper/owner complies with all of the Apiary Laws and Rules.
