Eyemart Express to Give Away 40 Pairs of Glasses at Troy Grand Opening

TROY - Eyemart Express will celebrate the grand opening of its new Troy store with a giveaway of 40 free pairs of glasses on Saturday, Aug. 22.

   The first 20 children and 20 adults to arrive at the celebration will receive a voucher for a free pair of glasses. One voucher will be available per family.

​

   The grand opening celebration will take place from noon to 4 p.m. at Eyemart Express, 2343 W. Main St., in the Kings Tower shopping center. Local radio personalities also will broadcast live from the store, with Scott Sharp of WGTZ-FM from noon to 2 p.m. and Nancy and Woody of WHKO-FM from 2 to 4 p.m.

   The Troy store opened July 27 and is the first Eyemart Express location in the Miami Valley and the company's 13th location in Ohio. The 2,497-square-foot store offers more than 2,000 frames, comprehensive eye exams and same-day glasses through an on-site lens laboratory.

   Eyemart Express, founded in 1990, operates 271 stores nationwide. The company says glasses can be ready in as little as 30 minutes at its locations.

​

   The Troy store is open 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday. It is closed Sunday.
