Information provided

TIPP CITY – Ginghamsburg Church is continuing its commitment to caring for vulnerable children with a show of support for Isaiah 117 House. Since 2023, the church has raised a total of $266,195 to help build a transitional home for children entering the foster care system in Dayton, Ohio—most recently gifting $182,725 from its 2024 Christmas Miracle Offering.

Isaiah 117 House provides safe, loving spaces for children on their removal day, easing one of the most traumatic moments in their young lives. While the physical house in Montgomery County is still awaiting zoning approval, the organization is already active—meeting the urgent needs of children in transition.

At the end of the school year, Ginghamsburg’s student ministry led a two-week diaper drive to support Isaiah 117 House’s ongoing work. Students collected 55 packages—more than 2,270 diapers—ensuring babies in crisis have the basics they need.

“We wanted to end the semester by shifting our students' focus,” said Dan Bracken, adult volunteer, “our students need to understand they can make a practical difference in the lives of others, and indeed they did.”
