Kona Ice of Troy & Tipp City Public Library Offer Tax Day Pick-Me-Up

Information provided

TIPP CITY — Kona Ice of Troy and Tipp City Public Library are teaming up to offer members of the community a chance to chill out on April 15 from 4 to 6 p.m.

Part of a nationwide Chill Out Day, anyone is welcome to come out and get a free cup of Kona Ice during these times. Why? Because even on Tax Day, everyone deserves something sweet!

Tax Day may not be everyone’s favorite—but Chill Out Day definitely is. Every year on April 15, participating Kona Ice trucks across the country serve free Kona Ice as a way to say thanks to the communities that support us. Consider it a well-deserved break from tax season.

“Chill Out Day is one of our favorite traditions,” says Allen Lay, owner of Kona Ice of Troy. “Once a year on Tax Day, Kona Ice trucks roll out to share free shaved ice and a little extra joy with the communities we serve. It’s simple: good vibes, bold flavors, and a reminder to take a moment and chill.”

Anyone of any age is welcome to stop by the Tipp City Public Library on April 15 between 4 and 6 p.m. to get a free cup of delicious Kona Ice. Guests are limited to one cup per person, and each cup is absolutely free.

Kona Ice is a one-of-a-kind shaved ice truck that brings tropical fun straight to you! Whether you’re looking for a Kona Ice truck rental for a school fundraiser, corporate event, or neighborhood party, we make it easy to add a refreshing treat to any gathering. With our vibrant shaved ice food trucks, endless flavor combinations, and commitment to giving back, Kona Ice isn’t just a dessert—it’s an experience.
