TROY - Miami County Public Health is reminding pregnant women and new parents that support is available through its Help Me Grow Home Visiting Program.
The voluntary program connects families with home visitors who provide guidance and support during pregnancy and early childhood. The program is designed to help families build healthy foundations while connecting them with helpful community resources.
Home visitors can help families support healthy growth and development, build nurturing parent-child relationships, find reliable information about a baby’s needs and access referrals and other family support.
The program also provides families with an opportunity to have someone in their corner as they navigate pregnancy and the early stages of parenting.
Those who are pregnant or parenting a young child and could benefit from additional support can learn more about the Help Me Grow program through Miami County Public Health by calling 937-573-3518.
Miami County Public Health said supporting families and helping children get a healthy start contributes to a healthier community.
