TIPP CITY - On May 11, 2024 from 4-8pm discover the rich history, charming architecture, and vibrant community of downtown Tipp City like never before with the launch of the Nosy Neighbors Walking Tour. Developed by local historians and enthusiasts, this immersive experience promises to take participants on a captivating journey through the heart of Tipp City, uncovering its hidden gems and untold stories.

   The Nosy Neighbors Walking Tour offers a unique opportunity to explore the historic district of downtown Tipp City, delving into its fascinating past and celebrating its enduring legacy. Led by knowledgeable guides, participants will stroll through picturesque streets lined with beautifully preserved buildings, each with its own tale to tell.

 

Highlights of the tour include:

• Historic Landmarks: Step back in time as you visit iconic landmarks that have shaped the identity of Tipp City.

• Colorful Characters: Hear the stories of several colorful characters who once roamed the streets of TippCity.

• Architectural Marvels: Marvel at the architectural splendor of downtown Tipp City, with its eclectic mix ofarchitectural styles spanning different eras, including Jacobethan, Italianate, and Romanesque.

   "The Nosy Neighbors Walking Tour offers a fresh perspective on the history and heritage of downtown Tipp City," said Tasha Weaver, Director of the Downtown Tipp City Partnership. "Whether you're a longtime resident or a first-time visitor, this immersive experience promises to enlighten, entertain, and inspire."

 

   The Nosy Neighbors Walking Tour will depart at the Tipp City Historical Society (20 N. Third Street) every 30 minutes from 4pm to 7:30pm on Saturday, May 11.    All events are presented by the Downtown Tipp City Partnership. Proceeds benefit the DTCP, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization with a mission to enhance, preserve, and promote downtown Tipp City from the tracks to the canal. It is an officially designated Main Street organization through Heritage Ohio and Main Street America.
