Ribbon Cut at New Park Maintenance Building in Troy
Information from the City of Troy
TROY - Last night, Park staff welcomed the Board of Park Commissioners, Recreation Board, Beautification Committee, City Council, and community members to the new Park Maintenance Building, located at 1670 Troy-Sidney Road.

The new 8,000 square-foot building includes two offices, a conference room, a secure employee locker area, an equipment service area, and open storage for vehicles and equipment–allowing the Park Department to operate out of a central location.
Said Park Department Superintendent Jeremy Drake, "The building has significantly streamlined park maintenance operations by housing Park employees, vehicles, and equipment in one place, rather than two locations miles apart. It has also allowed us to organize pre-existing storage and equipment better, further increasing operational efficiency."
