Piqua Honors Veterans with Banner Display Ahead of Memorial Day
Information provided by the City of Piqua
PIQUA - As Memorial Day approaches, the City of Piqua recognizes and honors the service and sacrifice of the nation’s veterans — those who returned home and those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.
The 2025 Veteran Banner Program is now in full effect on East Ash Street between Spring Street and the bridge across the Great Miami River. The City extends its appreciation to the Piqua Power System team for installing the banners last week.
The banners will remain on display through Veterans Day in November. Those who purchased banners to honor loved ones will be contacted in the fall with instructions for pickup from City offices after the display period ends.
