Shawnee Park Playground in Piqua to be Replaced with New Equipment

PIQUA - The City of Piqua Parks & Recreation Department will begin demolition of the playground at Shawnee Park on Monday, August 17.

   The playground has been closed recently due to damaged equipment. The existing playground equipment will be removed to make way for new equipment.

 

   The playground will remain closed while work is underway. Additional information regarding installation of the new playground equipment and reopening will be shared as it becomes available.

 

   The City of Piqua appreciates the community’s patience as improvements are made to the playground.
