The American Revolution Experience Traveling Exhibit Coming to Greenville

GREENVILLE - Fort GreeneVille Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution and Garst Museum are hosting the exciting new American Revolution Experience traveling exhibit in partnership with the American Battlefield Trust. The exhibit will be open to view Tuesdays through Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., April 27 through May 29.

According to battlefields.org: "This innovative pop-up exhibition includes display panels and interactive digital kiosks that use storytelling, illustration, technology and unique artifacts and primary accounts to connect modern audiences with the people and places that shaped the birth of our nation."

Two special Garst Museum Lecture Series will take place: Saturday, April 27, 2 p.m. "America 250! Loyalists Become Revolutionists" with Steve Kaplan, President of the Ohio Society of the Sons of the American Revolution (SAR), including the Richard Montgomery Chapter SAR Color Guard and Saturday, May 11, 2 p.m. Garst Museum Lecture Series with Lady Karen and John reenacting John and Abigail Adams and their pre-Revolutionary war correspondence.

The traveling exhibit and lecture series are free admission. (Regular admission rates apply for those
interested in touring the museum). Youth (K–12) are highly encouraged to attend the traveling exhibit and enter a drawing for prizes. The museum is located at 205 North Broadway.
