Strawberry Festival Road Closures

TROY - The City of Troy is looking forward to the Strawberry Jam and Strawberry Festival this weekend. Residents and visitors are asked to be aware of downtown road closures beginning Thursday, June 4.

Starting at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 4, the Public Square will be closed, and the adjoining blocks will be closed to Water Street, Mulberry Street, Franklin Street, and Plum Street. Franklin Street will be closed from Market Street to Plum Street. Cherry Street and Walnut Street will be closed between Water Street and Franklin Street, with accessibility to parking lots until Friday afternoon.

Starting at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, June 5, North Market Street will be closed from Water Street to Staunton Road (including the North Market Bridge).

The morning of Saturday, June 6, Riverside Drive will be closed between the entrance to Duke Park and Adams Street from approximately 6:30 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. to allow for the safe passage of runners participating in the Strawberry Classic 5k/10k. It will reopen after the race has started.

Beginning at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 6, Staunton Road will be open to handicap vehicles only from Adams Street to Market Street, to facilitate arrivals to the America 250 concert. The road will re-open after the concert.
All roads will be reopened by the morning of Monday, June 8.
