City, Volunteers Host Piqua’s First Longest Table Event in August

PIQUA - The City of Piqua, along with a committee of dedicated Piqua residents, is proud to announce that it will host the community’s first The Longest Table event in Piqua.

   This free event brings people together for a shared meal and conversation. Tables and chairs are provided, and guests bring food for themselves and an optional dish to share. The community picnic is a way to meet neighbors and create community. Participants can bring food from home, or local restaurants may be offering specials and drinks to-go through Piqua’s Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area.

 

   The Longest Table Piqua is scheduled for 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday, August 29, 2026, on High Street between Wayne and Main streets in downtown Piqua. The potluck-style neighborhood gathering occurs immediately before the final free show in the Lock 9 Concert Series.
