Troy Police Department will be Using Kyle Elementary for Training Purposes Today

TROY - If you see a police presence around Kyle Elementary School Friday, June 27 please DO NOT be alarmed.

   The City of Troy Police Department’s Tactical Response Team (SWAT team) will be using Kyle Elementary School for training purposes from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday, June 27.

   There will be a minimal police presence outside the building, including one cruiser and an unmarked passenger van. The Troy Police will place signs at entrances, letting residents know there is a training exercise in progress and they should not enter the building.

   We are incredibly thankful to the members of the City of Troy Police Department for all they do to keep our students and staff safe on a daily basis, and we are proud of the working relationship we have with them.
