Information provided
TROy - One Small Act Miami County is proud to announce the first-ever Pride Day in Miami County, a historic community event dedicated to celebrating inclusion, visibility, and belonging for LGBTQ+ residents and their families.
The event will take place on Saturday, July 25, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at One Small Act Miami County inside the Stouder Center, 1100 S. Wayne Street, Troy, Ohio.
As the first event of its kind in Miami County, Pride Day represents an important milestone for local residents seeking a welcoming space where everyone can feel seen, respected, and valued.
“Pride Day is about recognizing that LGBTQ+ people are part of the fabric of Miami County,” said Heather Rocco, President of One Small Act Miami County. “We are neighbors, family members, friends, coworkers, and community members. We believe everyone deserves to feel safe, welcomed, and included in the place they call home.”
The event will feature interactive activities, opportunities for education and community engagement, and a welcoming environment for people of all ages and backgrounds. Organizers hope the event will foster understanding, connection, and a stronger sense of community throughout Miami County.
Community organizations, businesses, and individuals interested in participating are encouraged to contact One Small Act Miami County. There is no charge to participate; however, space is limited.
“This is more than a single event,” Rocco said. “It is the beginning of a new tradition that reflects our belief that everyone belongs in Miami County. We hope Pride Day becomes a lasting part of community life for years to come.”
