Information provided
TIPP CITY — Tipp City Public Library has officially launched its 2025 Summer Reading Challenge, inviting community members of all ages to participate in a season of reading, learning, and creative exploration. This year’s theme, “Color Our World,” celebrates imagination, art, and the joy of storytelling. The challenge runs through July 31, 2025.
Participants can track their reading progress using the online platform, Beanstack, available at tippcitylibrary.beanstack.org/reader365. Registration is free and open to all ages—pre-readers, children, teens, and adults. Those without internet access can also register and log reading in person at the library.
Throughout the challenge, readers earn incentives and entries into prize raffles. Raffle items are tailored by age group and include a wide variety of options such as toys, art supplies, local gift cards, Dayton Dragons tickets, book-themed merchandise, and more.
In addition to the reading challenge, the library is offering a full slate of summer programs designed to engage the Tipp City community:
-
Children and families can enjoy weekly storytimes, hands-on science and art activities, and special events such as tie-dyeing in the park and visits from community partners.
-
Teens have access to creative workshops, weekly treat taste tests, and other community art projects.
-
Adults can participate in book discussions, Creative lifestyle offerings like learning your best color palette, wellness programs like intro to medical massage and energy renewal, with opportunities to connect with others and explore new hobbies.
Library staff emphasize that the Summer Reading Challenge is more than just books—it's about building connections, sparking creativity, and supporting lifelong learning in the community.
The 2025 Summer Reading Challenge is made possible in part through funding from the Institute of Museum and Library Services and LTSA from the State Library of Ohio. For more information about programs or how to participate, visit www.tippcitylibrary.org or stop by the library during open hours.
